The Waukon volleyball team faced a much busier schedule this past week, starting the week with back-to-back dual meets before competing in a weekend tournament. The Indians split those two dual dates, sweeping MFL/MarMac in straight sets on the road, 25-17, 25-10 and 25-16, Monday, September 8 before falling at home to Decorah Tuesday, September 9 in four sets by scores of 22-25, 6-25, 25-19 and 22-25. The Tribe then won just one out of three matches it played at the annual Kepros Tournament hosted by Crestwood High School in Cresco Saturday, September 13 to currently hold a 7-5 overall match record, including a 0-1 start to its Northeast Iowa Conference season.
The Indians will next prepare to host their own home invitational tournament this Saturday, September 20 before returning to dual match play Tuesday, September 23 against Oelwein.
