Kee volleyball team wins five-set thriller over Central Elkader, goes 2-2 at Waukon Tourney

The Kee volleyball team scored its first Upper Iowa Conference victory of the season before posting an even record at the Waukon Tournament this past week. The Hawk netters secured a five-set triumph at home over Central Elkader Tuesday, September 16 before winning two of four matches to finish in sixth place at the 12-team Waukon Tournament Saturday, September 20.
Holding a 6-7 overall record, 1-2 in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Hawks were scheduled to host both MFL/MarMac and Postville Tuesday and Thursday, September 23 and 25, respectively, this week and will then have a week to prepare for another home UIC date with Clayton Ridge Thursday, October 2.
