Schwartzhoff, Ghelf joined in marriage in June 14 ceremony

Amy Schwartzhoff and Ben Ghelf were united in marriage June 14, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lansing by Father John Moser. The bride is the daughter of Stan and Dianna Schwartzhoff of Lansing and the granddaughter of Jim and Kay Hawes. The groom is the son of Ralph and Linda Ghelf of De Soto, WI and the grandson of Doris Koll.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Maid of Honor Erika Schwartzhoff, friend of the bride, and bridesmaids Donna Schwartzhoff and Ashley Schwartzhoff, both sisters-in-law of the bride, and friends of the bride Christina Verdon and Jocelyn Johnson. The Flower Girl was Faith Lange, niece and goddaughter of the groom. Usherettes were Amber DeCesare, sister of the groom, and Stacie Sanborn, cousin of the groom.
The groom’s Best Man was his brother, Adam Ghelf. Groomsmen were Adam and Keith Schwartzhoff, brothers of the bride, Scott Sanborn, cousin of the groom, and John Merfeld, friend of the groom. Ring Bearers were Ryan Schwartzhoff, nephew and godson of the bride, and Kyle Hanson, nephew of the groom.
Music was provided by soloists Nicole Hanson and Healther Ghelf, sisters of the groom, and organist Jenn Ghelf, sister of the groom.
Gift carriers at the church were Kristen Wink, Bethany Hawes and Hilary Hawes, all cousins of the bride.
A reception was held following the ceremony at T.J. Hunters Banquet Center in Lansing, hosted by Don and Julie Hawes, uncle and aunt of the bride, and Mike and Marian Verdon.
The bride is a graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Kirkwood Community College and is currently employed at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon in the Physical Therapy Department. The groom is a graduate of De Soto High School and is currently employed as a conveyor operator at the Alliant Energy generating facility in Lansing.
