To the Editor: Wireless technology is not "green"

To the Editor:
I see in the October newsletter of an area business that they are claiming they have “gone green” in the boardroom. They are basing this claim on the fact that they have supplied each board member with an iPad. An iPad is a wireless device that uses man-made microwave radiation that man is massively producing and emitting into our environment. It is a major pollutant and company money was used to buy a device for each board member. This device is a massive contributor to polluting and destroying our environment.
Our government and the wireless industry are brainwashing the American citizens into thinking that wireless is safe, as well as “green.” Neither are true. Yet the American people are buying into both. Plus, the government is allotting millions of tax dollars to our infrastructures, such as electric companies, to massively produce and implement this destruction. This boils down to government assistance or a government welfare program for our infrastructures. It is tax dollars manipulating the American citizens and the infrastructures into doing things their way.
Wireless does not improve data protection and security. In fact, it does the opposite. Wireless technology is continually obtaining more and more information about you and is storing it for anyone and everyone to hack into. With wireless technology, your life becomes an open book to everyone and anyone, especially to the government.
The longer this is allowed to go on, the more control our government will have over the American citizens. By saying and doing nothing, you are willfully giving up your freedom and this free country for a country where you are dictated to and then you won’t have the opportunity to do nothing. You will be told what to do and you will do it or else.
Let’s spend some time addressing these so-called benefits of wireless technology. Let’s start with claiming that wireless is “green.” In order to qualify for being “green,” you have to meet certain criteria. It has to be natural, holistic, preserve the ecosystem, environmentally friendly, minimize impact on the environment, support biodiversity, non-toxic, non-polluting, use renewable materials and use renewable energy. Wireless does not meet any of these.
Wireless reduces clutter. This is not true. Your office or boardroom may not be so visibly unorganized and cluttered, but it is still cluttered. It is now cluttered with a massive amount of microwave radiation. The old clutter was contained to the boardroom and was recyclable. The new clutter reaches for miles around and is not environmentally friendly. It is damaging and destroying all forms of life.
The new clutter is not only cluttering and damaging our air it is now cluttering the landfills with a toxic clutter that contaminates the soil and the water. Wireless devices are obsolete as fast as they are manufactured. There are millions upon millions of wireless devices ending up in the landfill, ultimately cluttering the landfill with toxic waste.
Wireless devices are made from PBTs or Persistent Bioaccumulative and Toxic chemicals that linger in the environment for a very long time without degrading, multiplying their negative effects on all biological life. These devices contain toxic chemicals such as lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, beryllium, tantalum, arsenic, copper, and more, again making them a health and environmental hazard. So, wireless does not reduce clutter and it is not “green.” Plus, it does not preserve natural resources. It destroys all of them - air, soil and water, as well as all forms of life.
Wireless does not lower our carbon footprint. Fossil fuel components are used in wireless technology. Fossil fuels are used in manufacturing wireless devices and these factories use fossil fuels in their filtering systems. Fossil fuels are used in the installation and maintenance of these components. Fossil fuels are used at the data processing centers where all this information is sent and stored. Fossil fuels are used in transporting these components in which the vast majority come from other countries, such as China. China has the wireless market. So, going wireless also decreases available jobs for the American citizens.
The American citizens do not benefit by going wireless. The ones that benefit are those within the infrastructure, the wireless industry and our government. Wireless in due time will increase health care cost due to the escalating health problems. It will increase legal and regulatory costs due to the difficulty of regulating it. It will increase environmental costs due to the damage it does to our environment. There is already a burdening demand on toxic rare earth mining which is needed for some of the components that are used in wireless technology. In the long run, wireless will be far more expensive in numerous ways.
As far as smart grid as a whole, this truly is the beginning of the end. When you are linked into the smart grid, you are linked into a global smart grid and you literally become accessible to anyone and everyone global wide.
A smart grid consists of each resident having a smart meter on their property. A smart meter is another wireless device that emits microwaves into our already massively saturated atmosphere. In due time, all of your appliances will be equipped with a wireless transmitter that will be continually sending microwaves within your home to a nearby tower or antenna resulting in more cell towers and antennas erected to handle the added microwaves. Plus, where there are shiny surfaces within your home it will compound the negative effects of these microwaves that are being sent to the company, the government, hackers, etc. They will know your every move.
You are brainwashed into thinking this is safe as well as more secure. Nothing could be further from the truth. Plus, using children and their education to promote wireless is truly sad. Many other countries are removing wireless from their schools and libraries in order to protect the children from microwave radiation. Google the following:
