Waukon boys basketball team pulls out 53-52 victory to begin season at 2-0

Waukon boys basketball junior Brock Berns soars to the hoop for one of his back-to-back buckets that helped the Indians both recover from and keep better pace with a strong North Fayette Valley effort in the first half of the Tribe’s 53-52 home win over the TigerHawks Thursday, December 4. On two separate occasions in the first half Berns converted back-to-back baskets to finish the game with eight points while also grabbing three rebounds, swiping one steal and swatting a team-high two blocked shots.
