The Waukon girls golf team competed in back-to-back home course matches during the past week, falling in both of those hosting efforts. The lady linksters surrendered a Monday, April 13 match to Waverly-Shell Rock, 225-221, and then fell to MFL/MarMac Tuesday, April 14 by a 226-209 final result.
The Lady Indians were scheduled to challenge Decorah at the Waukon Golf and Country Club Monday, April 20 and then travel to Caledonia, MN Tuesday, April 21, but that Monday event was postponed to Friday, April 24 due to weather. Waukon is then slated to host three more matches the following week, including back-to-back nights to begin the week, Monday, April 27 against Crestwood and Tuesday, April 28 against North Fayette Valley, before welcoming New Hampton to town Friday, May 1.
