Waukon girls track team places fifth at both Waverly-SR Invite and NEIC Meet

The Waukon girls track team recorded a pair of fifth-place finishes in their two meets this past week, and experienced a milestone along the way. That milestone was the rewriting of a 30-year-old school record in the 4x200 relay by the foursome of senior Lyvia Bulman, juniors Nicole Behrend and Madison Snitker and sophomore Regan Wasson at the Northeast Iowa Conference Meet hosted by Oelwein Thursday, May 7, with the track Tribe recording its other fifth-place team finish at the Waverly-Shell Rock Invitational Tuesday, May 5.
The Indian track girls will now prepare for their Class 3A State Qualifying Meet scheduled for Thursday, May 14 at Decorah.
