Winner of Waukon Chamber of Commerce Holiday Window Decorating Contest

The Waukon Chamber of Commerce has announced WW Homestead Dairy as the winner of its Third Annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest. Pictured above is Amanda Bloxham of WW Homestead Dairy with the winning "Moo-ry Christmas" window and the contest prize of a holiday wreath provided by Waukon Greenhouse Flowers and Gifts. A small group of community members voted on Creativity, Originality and Appearance to determine the contest winner. Receiving Honorable Mention for the contest were GFMutual Insurance Association and Cook Insurance Agency, and the window at Gordy’s Auto Body created by TASC, Inc.
"The Waukon Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate all of the businesses that illuminated their windows with lights and decorations in time for our Third Annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest," Waukon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stephanie Dugan said. In addition to the award winners, businesses participating in this year's Holiday Window Decorating Contest included Good Samaritan Society-Waukon, Hartig Drug, Howards Home Furnishings, NICC Waukon Center, Shawver Well Company, Inc., Teslow’s Formal Wear & Guesthouse, Waukon Greenhouse Flowers and Gifts, and Waukon State Bank.
