Kee boys basketball team splits UIC road pair at Starmont and West Central

The Kee boys basketball team ended up in both the win and loss column within their two-game schedule this past week, both games on the road in Upper Iowa Conference play. The Hawks hung on for a 54-49 victory at Starmont Tuesday, January 26 before coming up just a bit short, 73-65, at West Central Friday, January 29.
The week’s split runs the Hawks’ season record to 4-12 overall, including a 4-8 mark in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play. Kee is scheduled to play at North Fayette Valley Tuesday, February 2 before making up its original January 8 game at Central Elkader - postponed again from January 25 - Thursday, February 4 and then playing at Clayton Ridge Friday, February 5. The Hawks are slated to wrap up their regular season Friday, February 12 at Coulee Christian in West Salem, WI before opening postseason tournament play at a date and location to be determined soon.
