Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for March 26 in Waukon City Park

Volunteers needed to assist in filling, setting out eggs and registration

Epic Wear is hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 26 in the Waukon City Park, beginning at 10 a.m. with registration. Kids ages 12 and under are invited to participate in this free event and are reminded to bring their own basket to gather eggs.
There will be over 9,000 eggs filled with candy, and the Easter Bunny will also be in attendance. Kids have the chance to win a large prize, such as a bicycle that will be drawn for after the eggs are found, and all will get a small goodie bag at registration. Waukon High School students will also be holding a bake sale, with all proceeds going to Project Post Prom.
Tyler and Mandy Halverson of Epic Wear hope many will come enjoy this great event. “Last year the Easter egg hunt was a huge success. Over 400 kids participated, and we’re hoping for even more this year. Thanks to other local organizations and businesses for supporting the event,” the Halversons shared.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteer assistance is still needed to help fill the eggs prior to the event, or with placing eggs or registration the day of the event. Volunteers can fill eggs at Epic Wear in Waukon anytime during their regular business hours. Anyone wishing to volunteer should contact Mandy Halverson at Epic Wear at 563-568-2301.
