Waukon boys golf team ends up short of the win column in busy week of three dual meets

The Waukon boys golf team turned in another busy, three-event week of competition this past week, coming up shy in all three events to remain at just a single dual meet victory so far this spring. The Indians fell by a 154-177 final result in a Monday, April 18 home Northeast Iowa Conference contest against Decorah before narrowly suffering a similar fate, 183-185, at Caledonia, MN Tuesday, April 19. The Tribe linksters rounded out the week with a 363-394 loss at Charles City Friday, April 22 in a rare 18-hole match postponed from its original April 5 date due to inclement weather.

The Indians were scheduled to host another three dual meets this week, including Crestwood Monday, April 25, Prairie du Chien, WI Tuesday, April 26 and New Hampton Friday, April 29. The golf Tribe will then have just a Monday, May 2 road date at Oelwein on its schedule for next week.
