A Year of New Beginnings

Thanks be to God for the life he gives to us every day and for every good thing he has given us in the past year. God is good all the time. God told Moses that he would walk before him and show him the way. As we begin this new year, time can be different for us if we put God first in our lives. Forget the old things. (Isaiah 43-18)  We want to remember that God loves us and wants the best for us. Read I Corinthians 13:1-13. Every day God provides good things for us.

We need to think about how we spend our time. God wants us to recognize him by worshipping him and by praise. We need to think about how we spend our time. We need to spend time with God. Do we allow ourselves quiet time so that we can hear God talking to us. Do we read our bibles. Do we spend time praying for our families, for our leaders, for those who are sick, or do we just ask God for those things we want for ourselves.  Are we thankful to all those who help us. We need to think about our relationship with God and the decisions we make in our lives.

No one can love us as much as God does. God knows us. Because his love for us is so great, he said that he has made great plans for us. “God loved the world so much that he gave his only son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but will have eternal life”.  (John 3:16) This is a year of new beginnings, allow yourself time with God.
