The Kee boys basketball team remained in search of its first win of the season but came very close to achieving that feat in each of its two games this past week. The Hawks opened their home season coming up just shy of a win, 53-51, in an Upper Iowa Conference match-up with Clayton Ridge Tuesday, December 4 before closing out the week with a 60-54 loss to Lanesboro, MN at the Iowa-Minnesota Border Battle hosted by Luther College in Decorah Saturday, December 8.

The Hawks were next scheduled to host both Turkey Valley, Tuesday, December 11, and Central Elkader, Friday, December 14. The Kee boys will then wrap up the 2018 portion of their schedule with a pair of road games, playing at North Fayette Valley Tuesday, December 18 and then at MFL/MarMac Friday, December 21 prior to the holiday break.
