The Waukon wrestling team wrapped up the 2018 portion of its season schedule with a split of two non-conference dual meets at home, hosting both Fillmore Central out of Minnesota and South Winneshiek Tuesday, December 18. The double-dual also marked the end of the mat Tribe’s home schedule for this season, the Indians earning a split of that final home affair by pulling off a comeback effort over Fillmore Central for a 39-33 triumph before falling to South Winneshiek by a 30-45 final.

South Winneshiek swept the mat event with a win over Fillmore Central as well, also defeating the Wolves from Minnesota by a 47-30 final result.

The wrestling Tribe will return to action following the holiday break Saturday, January 5 by competing in the Crestwood Tournament.
