The Kee girls basketball team added two more games to its winning streak of four games started with the new year, posting a pair of home wins by differing degrees over a pair of Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) opponents. The Lady Hawks first fended off a late South Winneshiek effort to secure a 29-26 win over the Warriors Tuesday, January 8 before allowing their lowest point total of the season in a 57-8 home drubbing of Postville Friday, January 11.

Now holding a 12-2 record on the season, including a 9-1 mark in UIC play, the Lady Hawks were next scheduled to play at Clayton Ridge Tuesday, January 15 for their only competition of the week. They will make up for that slower week with a busy following week on the road, playing at Turkey Valley Tuesday, January 22, at Seneca, WI Thursday, January 24 and at Central Elkader Friday, January 25.
