Kee boys track team finishes eighth at postponed Bulldog Relays in Boscobel, WI, claims fourth place at Clayton Ridge Invitational

Despite some weather issues, the Kee boys track team was able to get two nights of competition in this past week. The Hawks first had their Monday, April 22 Bulldog Relays in Boscobel, WI postponed by rainy weather to Tuesday, April 23, finishing eighth in that 11-team field. The Kee boys then placed fourth among seven teams at the Clayton Ridge Invitational Thursday, April 25 on a cool, damp night.

The Hawks were next scheduled to compete at Monona for the MFL/MarMac Invitational Monday, April 29 before competing in the Upper Iowa Conference Meet Thursday, May 2 at Clayton Ridge. The Kee boys will then compete in their Class 1A State Qualifying Meet at Edgewood-Colesburg Thursday, May 9, details of which can be found in a shaded box elsewhere on the same Sports pages in the May 1, 2019 print and e-edition of The Standard.
