Waukon softball team gets 2019 season underway with three victories in first four games including pair of mercy-rule wins and split with W-SR

Outfield acrobatics ... Waukon softball sophomore center fielder Regan Griffith goes airborne to snag this deep fly ball out of the air late in the Indians’ first game of a home Northeast Iowa Conference doubleheader split with Waverly-Shell Rock Thursday, May 23. Not only did Griffith track down the ball for the out, but she also fired the ball in to double-up a baserunner for a double play, and she also contributed three hits in five at-bats in the twinbill to score four runs for the Indian offense.
