The Waukon bowling teams opened this past week making up a December 13 postponed meet at home with North Iowa, hosting the Bison Monday, January 13 and ending up with opposite results, but only by a slim margin in the girls competition. The Lady Indians had a slim early lead reversed in the Baker round of their competition to fall by just a 1947-1960 result, while the Waukon boys easily handled their North Iowa competition limited in participation numbers this season, 2498-1774.

The bowling Indians were also scheduled to host Waterloo Columbus Friday, January 17 but had that meet postponed because of winter weather to a date yet to be determined. The Tribe is next scheduled to host Oelwein this Friday, January 24 and will then travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg Friday, January 31 before competing in the Waterloo Columbus Tournament Saturday, February 1.
