Letter to the Editor: Current events in times like these
To the Editor:
In times like these, some things bear repeating. Remember, God is not to be omitted from the 2020 election of the leaders of His country. God has plans and purposes for this nation, the United States of America, for His glory. Our faith is in God, the Maker of heaven and earth.
The Great Creator of the heavens is displaying His power and glory, and divine orchestration in His heaven above us. December 21, we saw the “Christmas Star” conjunction of Jupiter (The King) and Saturn, last seen 800 years ago. Now, January 9 and 10, we had on display an amazing “Triple Conjunction” (Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury) and this rare triangular trinity “Triple Conjunction” appears soon again February 13. All that, plus a total eclipse of the sun, meteor showers, and a comet on January 20, 202’WON’!
“The heavens declare the Glory of God..” found in Psalms 19:1; “And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself.” From Psalm 50:6. Creator God is not going to be a bystander at this time! In times like these, He shows up!
Eight hundred and fifty years ago, Thomas Becket, a British priest and archbishop, was killed within the walls of his own church by the henchmen of King Henry II for standing up for religious freedom and for his faith. A noteworthy proclamation was made by President Donald Trump recently. I share an excerpt of this proclamation for December 29, 2020. “On this day, we celebrate and revere Thomas Becket’s courageous stand for religious liberty and we reaffirm our call to end religious persecution worldwide. In my historic address to the United Nations last year, I made clear that America stands with believers in every country who ask only for the freedom to live according to the faith that is within their own hearts. We pray for religious believers everywhere who suffer persecution for their faith. To honor Thomas Becket’s memory, the crimes against people of faith must stop... As long as America stands, we will always defend religious liberty. A society without religion cannot prosper. A nation without faith cannot endure - because justice, goodness, and peace cannot prevail without the grace of God.

At this time our faith is in God. The Commander’s judgments are supreme! God’s plans for America will not be overthrown!
• God will still triumph, for God is not late! Never!
• Truth will triumph!
• Justice will come and overturn!
• Freedom will ring across our land!
• The Trumpet shall blow louder!
• Watch the Hand of God at work to bring justice and righteousness!
