An open house in honor of Dorothy Seybert’s 90th birthday will be hosted by her children Saturday, March 10 from 1-3 p.m. at the Waukon City Club Party Room. All friends and family are invited to attend.

Donna Trappe of Monona celebrated her 90th birthday March 5. She is the mother of Katherine (Rumph) Heck, Charlotte (Rumph) Tysland and Gary, Ronald and Scott Rumph.

A surprise party celebrating the 80th birthday of Gale (Buggs) Burroughs will be held Saturday, March 17 from 1-4 p.m. at the Waukon City Club Party Room.

Tanner Baumler and Ericka Ford of Ossian announce the birth of their daughter, Willow Ray Baumler, born February 24, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 5 lbs. 10 ozs. and measured 19 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sister, Harper (4).

Grandparents are Darrell and Laina Ford of Waukon and Dave and Natalie Knutson of Ossian.
 

David and Angela Gibbs of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Vienna Marie Gibbs, born February 25, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 2 ozs. and measured 21-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Brant (7), Vincent (4) and Barrett (2).

Grandparents are David and Laure Weymiller of New Albin and Mike and Cindy Gibbs of Waterville. Great-grandparents are Fran Fahey of Waukon, Doc and Jean Ann Weymiller of Harpers Ferry and Arnold and Darlene Gibbs of West Union.
 

Ben and Kris Rausch of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Rosella Ann Rausch, born February 25, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Lena (6), Theo (3-1/2) and Jeremiah (1-1/2).

Grandparents are Irv Fosaaen and Christine Engstrom of Waukon, Jane and Jim Johnson of Waterville, Patty and Randy Nordheim of Waukon and Dale Rausch of Fort Atkinson. Great-grandparents are Norb and Nola Palmer of Waukon and Mary and Melvin Rausch of Fort Atkinson.
 

Bonnie Paus and Sam Potter of Decorah announce the birth of their son, Reid Russel Potter, born February 17, 2018 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 12 ozs. and measured 23 inches in length at the time of his birth.

Grandparents are Russ and Sally Paus of Dorchester and Tim and Linda Potter of Skaneateles, NY.
 

Alfred and Jeanne Stein of Lansing are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Alfred Stein and Jeanne Barragy were married February 24, 1968 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockwell. The couple will be celebrating the occasion with a private family gathering to be held at a future date.

Their children include Michel (Michael) Herrington of Omaha, NE, Christopher (Stephanie) Stein, both deceased, and Andy (Tara) Stein of Lansing. Their grandchildren include Elijah Herrington (19), Josiah Herrington (16), Isaac Herrington (12), Lilyana Herrington (9), Ashlyn Stein (5), Kaili Stein (3) and Cael Stein (1).
