The Kee football team got its District 4 schedule underway Friday, September 12 at the home of Eight-Player newcomer Turkey Valley, a Class A State Play-Off qualifier last season. The host Trojans have carried over some of that play-off experience and momentum into an undefeated early start and top-10 ranking so far this season, continuing that early streak with a 46-0 defeat of the Hawks.
After two consecutive games on the road, the Hawks will return home this Friday, September 19 for their annual Homecoming game. Kee will host the Central City Wildcats, a team off to a 1-2 start that suffered back-to-back losses of 58-0 and 62-0 to HLV-Victor and Janesville, respectively, to start the season, but posted its first win of the season this past Friday with a 58-36 victory over Cedar Valley Christian.
