Home ›Kee volleyball team falls to South Winn, wins one of three at Kepros Tournament in Cresco
The Kee volleyball team worked its way through a full late-week schedule to win one of its four matches played this past week. The Hawks fell in their lone dual match of the week in three straight sets at Class 2A South Winneshiek, 17-25, 16-25 and 13-25, Thursday, September 11 before posting a match win over Class 5A Waterloo West but falling to Class 3A New Hampton and Class 2A Lisbon to finish in a fifth-place tie at the annual Kepros Tournament hosted by Crestwood High School in Cresco Saturday, September 13.
Holding a 3-5 overall record, 0-2 yet in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Hawks were scheduled to resume UIC play Tuesday, September 16 at home against Central Elkader before playing in the Waukon Tournament this Saturday, September 20. Kee will then host both MFL/MarMac and Postville Tuesday and Thursday, September 23 and 25, respectively.
