Waukon boys cross country team opens season with third-place finish at Oelwein

The Waukon boys cross country team got its 2015 season off to a strong start, finishing third among 18 scoring teams at the Oelwein Invitational Tuesday, September 1. The Indians scored 116 team points to finish behind a pair of larger schools, including Class 4A Western Dubuque and Class 3A sixth-rated Decorah.
The Indians were scheduled to compete in the Waverly-Shell Rock Invitational Tuesday, September 8 before taking part in the North Fayette Invitational Saturday, September 12. The Tribe will then take part in the Starmont Invitational Tuesday, September 15.
