After ending the previous week with rare back-to-back losses, the Kee girls basketball team remedied that ailment quickly with an undefeated effort this past week. The Lady Hawks swept two Upper Iowa Conference opponents on consecutive nights, downing Edgewood-Colesburg, 47-25, in a Thursday, January 12 road contest that had been postponed from Tuesday, January 10 before posting a 53-41 victory at home over MFL/MarMac Friday, January 13.

Now holding an 8-3 overall season record, including a 6-2 effort in Upper Iowa Conference (UIC) play, the Class 1A sixth-rated Kee basketballers were scheduled to play at North Fayette Valley Tuesday, January 17 and then at Central Elkader Friday, January 20. The Lady Hawks will then host Starmont Tuesday, January 24 before playing at Clayton Ridge Thursday, January 26 and then hosting Postville Friday, January 27.
