Allamakee County Conservation Foundation to offer scholarships to area high school seniors

The Allamakee County Conservation Foundation (ACCF) is offering a scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors from an Allamakee County high school who will be attending a college or university pursuing a degree in natural resources or a related field. One $500 scholarship will be offered to a senior from each of the school districts - Postville, Allamakee and Eastern Allamakee - in Allamakee County.

Students who would like to apply for the scholarship are encouraged to visit www.allamakeecountyconservation.org or the Driftless Area Education and Visitors Center in Lansing for an application. Applications will be accepted until April 1 of this year and recipients will be notified by May 1.

The ACCF scholarship is funded through an endowment with the Allamakee County Community Foundation and the Foundation of Greater Dubuque to promote the Driftless Area Education and Visitors Center, conservation management and environmental education opportunities in Allamakee County.

Anyone who is interested in donating to the ACCF Scholarship Endowment fund to help further the mission of the ACCF may do so by contacting the Office Manager by email at accb.offmanager@gmail.com or by calling 563-538-0401.
