Edna Adam

Edna Adam, 57, of Wauzeka, WI died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday,  May 4 from 12-4 p.m. at the Waukon Banquet Center in Waukon.

Edna Delores was born May 19, 1961 to Arnold and Rachel (Milhan) King in Sumner. Edna loved being around her family. She was the life of the party. Edna was loved by all because of her positive outlook, warm heart and gentle soul. She loved everything on earth.

Edna would make sure the birds had food before getting dinner for herself. That was just the person she was, she put others before herself. Some of her hobbies included fishing, camping, hiking, doing crafts and collecting rocks, everywhere she went she always found the coolest rocks.

Edna always looked forward to her annual vacation, when she and Mike would go up to Lake Superior in Michigan and spend their time outdoors. Edna could make a house into a home with just her being in it. Her famous sayings included “Oh, snap!, Have a better day, or I love you more.” She will be truly missed by not only everyone, but everything.

Edna is survived by her four children: Shaina (Brooks) Kruger of Waukon, Marty (girlfriend, Emily Schuff) of Cedar Rapids, Kandi Adam of Cedar Rapids and Holly Drips-Adam (Robert Drips) of Cedar Rapids; three grandsons, Michael Cushing, Cayden Kruger and Andrew Havel; her significant other, Mike Reising of Wauzeka, WI; and six siblings, Lou Price of Monona, Arnold (Michelle) King Jr. of Dubuque, Herman (Hilda) King of Marquette, Linda (Scott) Brainard of Luana, Gary (Wyatt) King of Black River Falls, WI and Randy (Sarah) King of Janesville, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Rachel King; and one brother, Kevin King.
