Lyle and Nancy Bodensteiner 50th wedding anniversary

Lyle and Nancy Bodensteiner of Waukon are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple met while growing up on farms outside of Ossian. They married at St. Francis de Sales Church June 6, 1970 and lived in Ossian, where Lyle owned and operated B&M Motors, while raising their four children. In 1988, they moved to Waukon where Lyle began his insurance company and Nancy began serving the community as a housekeeper at Veterans Memorial Hospital, where she worked for 21 years. Fifty years later their legacy includes four loving children: Brian (Cindy), Brenda (Ken) Klenk, Amy (Tim) Cummings and Nikki Fish, and 11 adoring grandchildren: Celena, Hanna (Jed), Ellie (Caleb), Annelise, Hunter, Kadee, Amelia, Reed, Holden, Seth and Henry.
