Steve and Sheryl Evanson of Waterville are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with a card shower. Steve Evanson and Sheryl Wood were united in marriage October 18, 1980 at Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church in rural Waterville with Pastor Paul H. Tobiason performing the ceremony.
Their children are Jennifer (Ronnie) Staggemeyer of Waukon, Elliott (Amy) Evanson of Waterville and Keith Evanson (Jalyn Souchek) of Memphis, TN. Their grandchildren include Leighton and Blake Staggemeyer and Claire and Myla Evanson.
