The Kee girls basketball team played its way through its busiest week, by far, of this season’s schedule, with four games in a span of six days, and also played to its most successful week of this season, by far, by putting all four of those games in the win column, snapping what had amounted to a three-game losing streak that dated back to mid-December. The undefeated past week all came against Upper Iowa Conference opponents, starting with consecutive road wins at Clayton Ridge, 40-32, Monday, January 4 and at South Winneshiek, 50-27, Tuesday, January 5 before wrapping up at home with their highest scoring totals of the season, a 59-35 win over West Central Friday, January 8 and a 64-30 triumph over Postville Saturday, January 9.

Improving to an even 6-6 overall record, 5-4 in Upper Iowa Conference play, the Kee girls will now be idle from competition until Friday, January 15 at Central Elkader. The Lady Hawks will then travel to Postville Tuesday, January 19 before hosting Turkey Valley Friday, January 22.
