Kee boys track team finishes 14th at large Ed-Co Invitational, places sixth at Foster-Kiesau Relays hosted by Postville

Dibert cleared 5’0” to finish in a tie for sixth place in that high jump event and also helped three relay events score team points for the Hawks. Dibert teamed up with fellow juniors Damon Weber and Tyson Cota and sophomore Carter Goetzinger to finish fifth in the 4x100 relay in a time of 50.63 seconds, joined forces with freshman Kaleb Drape and Jackson Schulte and sophomore Ben Franceschetti to place fourth in the shuttle hurdle relay with a clocking of 1:27.34 and also combined his efforts with juniors Nick Buege and Daniel Wagner and senior Chris Wagner to finish sixth in the distance medley relay in 4:24.04. The Kee boys track team competed in a pair of meets this past week, both of those competitions being larger multi-team events. The Hawks finished 14th in the 15-team Edgewood-Colesburg Invitational Tuesday, April 6 before placing sixth in the nine-team field of the Foster-Kiesau Relays hosted by Postville Thursday, April 8.

The Hawks were next scheduled to compete in the Crestwood Invitational at Cresco Tuesday, April 13 before competing at MFL/MarMac in Monona Thursday, April 15. The Kee track boys will then host a trio of other teams for their own home invitational Thursday, April 22, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
