Since starting the season with three consecutive wins, the Kee boys basketball team has been in the grips of a four-game losing streak, adding two more games to that skid on back-to-back nights of competition just prior to the holiday break. The Hawks were first dealt an 83-55 non-conference loss at Wapsie Valley Monday, December 20 before falling by a 56-48 result at home to Clayton Ridge Tuesday, December 21 to currently hold a 3-4 season record that includes a 2-2 start to their Upper Iowa Conference schedule.

The Kee basketball boys will return to the court following their holiday break with their busiest week of the season, starting with a Monday, January 3 non-conference match-up at Waukon before traveling to South Winneshiek Tuesday, January 4. The Hawk hoopsters will remain on the road with a Friday, January 7 contest at West Central before playing Hudson Saturday, January 8 at Upper Iowa University in Fayette. Another back-to-back pair awaits the Kee boys at home, including Thursday, January 13 against North Fayette Valley in a game rescheduled from December 17 and against Central Elkader Friday, January 14.
