Two-vehicle collision results in injuries, arrest on outstanding warrant

Tuesday, December 28 at 1:09 p.m. the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center received a report of a two-vehicle collision with occupant entrapment on Elon Drive east of Waukon, near its intersection with Strawberry Road. A report from the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office indicates that a vehicle driven by Lukas L Pitzer, age 35, of Wauzeka, WI was traveling westbound on the snow-covered roadway and crossed the centerline, striking an eastbound vehicle driven by Amy Joan McCormick, age 39, of Waterville.

Tina Nichole Sepe, age 38, of McGregor, Christine Marie Barnhart, age 32, of Edgewood, Anthony Keshon Williams, age 25, of Waukon and Jesse Allen Irish, age 34, of Potosi, WI were occupants of the vehicle driven by Pitzer, and all were transported to Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident. Pitzer and Sepe were later transferred to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse, WI. Irish was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transferred to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office following treatment.

Assisting at the scene of the accident was the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office, Waukon Police Department, Waukon Fire Department, Veterans Memorial Hospital Ambulance and Waterville Ambulance. The accident remains under investigation by the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office.
