A “love for the soul of a car” and a strong work ethic have fueled the decision of Jada Crary to open up a new vehicle detailing business. Jada Two was opened for business March 4 at 501 Rossville Road in Waukon, directly connected with Paint Creek Car Wash next to Hardee’s.

“I grew up with classic cars, my love for cars started early in life,” Crary shared in regard to her impetus to open Jada Two. “I believe if you take care of your car, it’s not only going to look better but it’s going to feel better.”

Originally from Garnavillo, Crary has also lived in Chicago, IL, and she grew up and went to school in Waukon. She has three sons of her own, along with one granddaughter, as well as a cat named Onyx.

Her work ethic shows in the 16 years that she spent performing clean-up after natural disasters and other mishaps, such as fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, train wrecks, etc. - work that she feels was very rewarding. She also received three years of mobile training in Chicago.

A self-proclaimed “go-getter” who is compassionate, caring about the work she does and helping others as much as possible, Crary came up with this business idea as a way to combine all her experience and drive into a venture that could also keep her in one place. “I’ve been working on the road for a long time, and I just want to be able to take care of my family,” she explained.

The fact that she has family in the local area was a big reason she decided to open up her new business in Waukon. Her vehicle detailing business allows her some flexibility in being able to coordinate her schedule around the needs of her family, an advantage she feels is likely the most rewarding aspect about her new venture, thus far.

She realizes that running a business can be very consuming for an individual. She says getting the word out about her services is another challenge in beginning a new venture.

As she continues to become more established, she would like to take her ambition and love for vehicles to her customers, possibly with a mobile detailing business. “I could go to farmers who don’t have time to come into town to get their vehicle detailed and help them out with that,” she reasoned. “Or I could go and clean up older cars for parades.”

Jada Two is open by appointment. To make an appointment to have a vehicle detailed, call 563-568-2698 or 708-237-9940.
