Family

Plans are progressing for the Waterville All-School Reunion to be held June 25-26 of this year. The reunion is for anyone who is or ever has been associated with the school in Waterville in any way, including alumni, teachers, board members, secretaries, bus drivers and cooks. Family members and descendants of these folks are also invited and encouraged to join in the festivities and share memories.
Registration can be done by completing the form found online. Those registration forms, along with the appropriate registration and other fees, are to be mailed to Cletus Mathis at 506 Fifth Avenue NW, Waukon, IA 52172.

Devian Kerr and Wade Lenth of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Kooper Joel Lenth, born February 5, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and measured 20-1/4 inches at his birth. He joins a big sister, Piper (5).
Grandparents are Donna Dotzler and Kenneth Kerr of Waukon, Kim Lenth of Luana and Karen Lenth of Elgin. Great-grandparents are C. Keith and Verta Kerr of Postville, and Leonard and Jean Schutte of Castalia.
 

Benjamin and Jessica Verdon of Lansing announce the birth of their son, Elijah Michael Verdon, born January 22, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System, La Crosse, WI. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 ozs. and measured 21 inches at his birth. He joins siblings Caleb (3-1/2) and Connor (1-1/2).
Grandparents are Cullen and Denise Becker of Lansing, and Mike and Marian Verdon of Lansing.
 

The family of Gary and Dorothy Gress of Waukon extends an invitation to an anniversary open house in honor of their 45th wedding anniversary. The open house will take place Sunday, March 6 from 1-4 p.m. in the Community Room of Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank in Waukon.

Nicholas and Jessica Hirth of Cedar Rapids are happy to announce the birth of their son, Sullivan David Hirth, January 7, 2016 at 4:44 p.m. at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Sullivan weighed 5 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 19 inches. He joins his sister, Hadley (2-1/2).
Proud grandparents are Wayne and Diane Hirth, and Herbie and Julie Snitker, all of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Doris and the late Bob Eglseder, Gary and Lollie Hirth, Janet and the late David Snitker, and Richard and Edith Bloxham, all of Waukon.
 

Joe and Jenny Mohn of Harpers Ferry announce the birth of their daughter, Brooklin Renee Mohn, born January 28, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches at her birth. She joins siblings Austyn (5), Easton (4) and Dylan (1).
Grandparents are Nick and Lois Jones of Waukon and Ralph and Diane Mohn of Harpers Ferry. Great-grandmother is Florence Jones of Harpers Ferry.

Richard Nelson will celebrate his 90th birthday Sunday, February 21 at Wellington Place in Decorah, located at 2475 River Road. Everyone is invited to join him and his family for an open house from 2-4 p.m.
 

Dacia and Brian Regan of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Conor Francis Regan, January 1, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. He weighed 10 lbs. 14 ozs., and measured 21.3 inches at his birth. Conor Francis joins siblings Brody (19), Ireland (18), Bren (14), Owen (7) and Evelyn (5).
Grandparents are Darold and Debbie Berger, and Frank and Mary Regan, all of Waukon.

Kendran (Imhoff) and Jeff Sizemore announce the birth of their daughter, Kenleigh Grace Sizemore, December 31, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. She joins siblings Akeela Love (15), Aliya Hope (9), Irelyn Faith (8), and Isaac Christopher (6).
Grandparents are Marlene Imhoff Duffy and the late Ken Imhoff, and Rick and Marcy Sizemore. Great-grandparents are the late Earl and Kay Moore and the late Shanty and Rita Imhoff.
