Derk and Emily Radloff of Luana announce the birth of their son, Landen Lee Radloff, August 13, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs., 15.5 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth.
Grandparents are Bill and Laura Radloff of Luana and Leo and Brenda Schroeder of Castalia. Great-grandparents are Jeanette Walch of Luana and Jeanette Schroeder of Castalia.

Matt and Heidi Farley of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Mason William Farley, August 14, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 8 lbs., 14 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, Mattilyn (4).
Grandparents are Gary and Dawn Farley and Dan and JoEllen Anderson, all of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Iona Farley, Wanda Anderson, Don and Mary Jane McGraw and DuWayne and Laurayne Snitker, all of Waukon.

Ross and Kendrin Geerdes of New Vienna announce the birth of their daughter, Sullivan Elizabeth Geerdes, August 3, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. She weighed 8 lbs., 5 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth.
Grandparents are Tom and Beth McCormick of Harpers Ferry and Brad and Sherry Geerdes of Monticello. Great-grandmothers are Dorothy McCormick of Harpers Ferry and Edith Geerdes of Waterloo.

Amanda Van Brocklin and Blake Schoh of Lansing announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows September 15 in Columbia Falls, MT.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Gina Van Brocklin of Rochester, MN and the late Ronald Van Brocklin of Lansing. She is a 2007 graduate of Kee High School, a 2012 graduate of Viterbo University and a 2013 graduate of the Mayo School of Health Sciences. She is currently employed as a medical laboratory scientist at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN.
The groom-elect is the son of Scott and Jana Schoh of Lansing. He is a 2005 graduate of Kee High School and a 2010 graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is currently employed as a project engineer in high-performance snowmobiles at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls, MN.
The couple currently resides in Middle River, MN.

Wendy Ryan and Ray and Donna Mahr are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Bridget Mahr, to Mark Reicks, son of Tim and Paula Reicks. The couple will exchange vows September 12 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin. A reception, dinner and dance will follow at the Protivin Community Center. The couple resides in Cedar Falls.
Bridget is a 2010 graduate of South Winneshiek High School and 2014 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion: Women’s Health.
Mark is a 2010 graduate of Turkey Valley High School and a 2015 graduate of Hawkeye Community College with an associate’s degree in Applied Science in Nursing.

Together with their parents, David and Laura Parker and Warren and June Barr, Erica Raeann Parker and Logan Bradly Barr announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows Saturday, August 29 at Waukon City Park. A reception and dance will follow the ceremony at Green Valley Getaway in Waukon.

Barton and Marilyn (Kolsrud) Hamm were married September 4, 1955 at the Waterville Lutheran Church. The couple will celebrate the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering September 5.
They are the parents of four children, Greg (Becky) Hamm of Waukon, Jeff Hamm of Waterville, Sandy (Tim) Rath of Urbana and Brad (Cindy Luster) of Harpers Ferry. They have been blessed with nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Bill and Joyce Steffenson are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Bill and Joyce (Mohr) were married August 26, 1965 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumner. They are the parents of Susan (Tom) Hoey of Jesup, Tim Steffenson of rural Waukon, and Billie Jo (Martin) Timm of Jasper, IN.  They have seven grandchildren.
Bill and Joyce continue to farm with their son, Tim, and Joyce retired from teaching at Waterville Elementary. They are active volunteers in the community and enjoy nature and visiting with family and friends.

Members of Waukon High School’s Class of 1947 will gather for their annual reunion Thursday, September 3 at 12 noon at Wing’s Supper Club in Dorchester. Those who need rides can meet in the parking lot of Quillin’s in Waukon at 11 a.m.
