Valerie and Joshua Miller of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Harrison Willard Miller, April 30, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 9 lbs., 5.6 ozs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a brother, Edison (2-1/2).
Grandparents are Dave and Laurie Martin of Waukon and Dennis and Suzie Miller of Chillicothe, IL. Great-grandparents are Roger and Arlene Martin of Waukon and Joyce Young of Chillicothe, IL.

Keni and Andrea Ewing of Decorah announce the birth of their daughter, Cannyn Onnika Ewing, April 10, 2015. She weighed 8 lbs. and measured 19-1/2 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Cooper (5), and a sister, Carsyn (4).
Grandparents are Bonnie and Ordell Sorum and Vicki and Joe Price of Decorah. Great-grandmother is Marge Ewing of Lansing.

Shauna Marie Broadhead and Brandan Michael Ashbacher announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows May 23 in Lansing.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Kay Stussy of Lansing and Michael and Elizabeth Gilman of Marquette. She is a 2005 graduate of Kee High School and is currently a stay-at-home mom studying Child Development at Ashford University.
The groom-elect is the son of Lori and Dan Treangan of Waukon and Kevin and Gina Ashbacher of Lansing. He is a 2004 graduate of Kee High School and currently drives semi for Ashbacher Farms Trucking.

Amanda Lyon of Waukon and Michael Horne of Cedar Rapids announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows June 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Allen and Linda Lyon of Waukon and the granddaughter of Lester and Lockie Sass and Donald and Carol Lyon, all of Waukon. She is a 2004 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and is currently attending Kirkwood Community College where she expects to graduate this August with an associate’s degree in Nursing. She is currently employed as an LPN at Mercy Urgent Care in Cedar Rapids.
The groom-elect is the son of Robert and Gail Horne of Cedar Rapids. He is a 2002 graduate of Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids and a 2006 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He is currently employed as a lead accountant at Transamerica in Cedar Rapids.

Nicole O’Connell and Dillon Dietrich, both of Waukon, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. They plan to exchange vows May 16 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon. A reception will be held following the ceremony at the Waukon Banquet Center.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Douglas O’Connell of Eastman, WI and Tamiko O’Connell of Waukon. She is a 2007 graduate of Prairie du Chien High School and is currently a stay-at-home mom.
The groom-elect is the son of Todd and Joan Dietrich of Waukon. He is a 2007 graduate of Waukon Senior High School and is the owner of Waukon Redemption and Ice.

Nicholas Hay and Catherine St. Clair of Waukon were married April 22, 2015 at the Allamakee County Courthouse.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Nancy St. Clair of Des Moines. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and Drake University Law School and is employed as the Director of Robey Memorial Library in Waukon.
The groom is the son of Kenneth and Diane Hay of Hinton. He is a graduate of Simpson College and Drake University Law School and is currently employed at the law firm of Jacobson, Bristol, Garrett and Swartz in Waukon.

Brittany Diercks of Waukon and Matt Renshaw of Council Bluffs were joined in marriage December 31, 2014 in the auditorium at Wilson Middle School, where the couple met.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Susie Diercks of Waukon. She is a graduate of Waukon Senior High School and the University of Northern Iowa and is now in her third year of teaching seventh grade math and coaching girls track at Wilson Middle School in Council Bluffs. She is also a swimming pool manager during the summer.
The groom is the son of Chuck and Laurie Renshaw of Council Bluffs. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs and Midland University in Nebraska and currently teaches high school business and coaches baseball at Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs.

Celeste and Jonah Marting of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Kendra Rose Marting, April 15, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs., 10.6 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a brother, Landon (22 months).
Grandparents are Jodie and Kiley Ball of Dyersville and Pat and Wes Kinley of Harpers Ferry. Great-grandparents are Kathy and Guy Spores of Waukon, Bud and Shelby Slaughter of McGregor and Herman and Nellie Marting of Masonville.
