Chad and Tess Hawes of Harpers Ferry announce the birth of their son, Cooper Allan Hawes, April 3, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 6 lbs., 15 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, McKenna (1).
Grandparents are Jay Rethwisch of Lansing, Kathy Sanderson of Harpers Ferry and Ed and Mary Hawes of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Allan and Ann Sanderson of Oelwein, Peter Rethwisch of Lansing and Jim and Kay Hawes of Harpers Ferry.

Michelle and John Buetow of New Prague, MN announce the birth of their son, Cooper Steven Buetow, December 28, 2014 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. He weighed 7 lbs., 13 ozs. and measured 20-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins two siblings, Colin (7) and Claire (5).
Grandparents are Steve and Chris Weymiller of Harpers Ferry and Bob and Judy Buetow of Apple Valley, MN. Great-grandparents are Ralph and Joann Welch of Waukon and Franklin (Doc) and Jean Ann Weymiller of Harpers Ferry.

A open house celebration will be held in honor of Mildred Lyons’ 90th birthday Sunday, April 19 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Silver Springs Golf & Country Club, located at 1392 Co. Rd. W42, Ossian. The event will be hosted by her 11 children and their extended families.

Dr. David and Erin Hahn were married January 15, 2015 on the beach at Castaway Cay in the Caribbean. A reception followed on the Disney ship. The wedding was attended by their immediate families.
David and Erin are the parents of a daughter, Landry, and Erin brings twin daughters to the marriage, Avery and Makenna.
The Hahns are both employed by North Kansas City Hospital. They reside in rural Kearney, MO.
 

Jean and Emil Bronecki will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Saturday, April 11 from 1-4 p.m. at Nutmegs in Lansing (367 Main Street). They request no gifts.

James Waters and Dorothy Staggemeyer were married April 3, 1965 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, rural New Albin. They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with their family.
They have three children, Laurie (Dan) Reinhart, Shelly (Todd) Guillien and Janette (Dave) Heitman; nine grandchildren, Erin and Ashley Fetketter,  Rachel (Mike) Burrichter, Jeremy, Drew and Bridget Guillien and Liz, Matt and Nicole Heitman; and three great-grandchildren, Tucker and Tanner Burrichter and Jack Fetketter.

Calvin and Emma Hochstetler of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, LeAnna C. Hochstetler, March 24, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs., 7.4 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth.
Grandparents are Elizabeth Hochstetler of Bertha, MN and Andrew and Catherine Mast of New Auburn, WI.

Yenny Villarreal and Trace Stamper of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Isabella Marie Stamper, March 18, 2015 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 6 lbs., 8.4 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins three siblings, Angela (14), Baldy (13) and Emiliano (9).
Grandparents are Susan and the late Mick Stamper of Waukon. Great-grandparents are Phyllis and the late Donald Dahlke of Waukon, and the late Nora and Victor Stamper of Waukon.
 

Brianna Delphey and Luke Mastny of San Francisco, CA announce the birth of their son, Flint James Mastny, March 12, 2015 in San Francisco, CA. He weighed 8 lbs., 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of his birth.
