Dennis and Karla Miller of rural Waukon will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Waukon June 28, 1969. An open house celebration in honor of the occasion is being held by their four children and spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members at the Waukon City Park shelter by the ball diamond Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone who would like to wish the couple congratulations are welcome to attend. Their four children are Stephanie (Steve) Radloff, Jonathan (Kelli) Miller, Kristan (Jason) Dahlstrom, and David (Micah) Miller.
 

John and Mary (Gaulthier) Iseli will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married May 31, 1969 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lansing, Iowa.

An open house will be hosted by their children Saturday, June 1. Family, friends and neighbors are invited to celebrate the occasion from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the New Albin Community Center in New Albin.

Their children are Kathi (Rob) Hanson, Deb (Gene) Bay, Arthur (Lori) Iseli and Fred (Jessica) Iseli. The couple have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sarah Needham and Joe Bloxham of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Jordyn Elizabeth Bloxham, born May 10, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 ozs. and measured 20 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins siblings, Cody (4) and Logan (7).

Grandparents are Bev Needham, Randy and Julie Bloxham and Jim and Bev Larson-Needham, all of Waukon. Norma Bloxham of Waukon is a great-grandparent.

Paige Kerr and Kevin Durnan of Waukon announce the birth of their son, Arlo Barrett Durnan, born May 13, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 ozs. and measured 22-1/2 inches in length at the time of his birth. He joins a sister, Stella (2).

Grandparents are Donna Dotzler and Kenneth Kerr of Waukon, Vicki and Chris O’Connell of Marquette and John Durnan Jr. of Clermont. Great-grandparents are Verta and Keith Kerr of Postville, Cherie and Don Hallberg of Elgin and Mary and John Durnan Sr. of Thomaston, GA.
 

Brian and Karen Cota of Waukon will be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. The couple was married May 21, 1994 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon.

They have four children, Blaize (Trina), Brett (Paige), Paige (Hunter) and Whitney. Their family also includes eight grandchildren, Jaxon, Braxton, Tila, Lukas, Nora, Everly, Esmae and Brycen.

She weighed 6 lbs. 6 ozs. and measured 20-1/4 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins brothers, Tryce (3) and Landry (nearly 5).

Grandparents are Kermit and Colleen Meyer of Caledonia, MN and the late Jim and Joann Schwartzhoff of Dorchester.

Derek and Amanda Voight of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Holly Rae Voight, born May 7, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. She weighed 9 lbs. 15 ozs. and measured 21 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins a sister, Lucy (2).

Grandparents are Scott and Barb Melcher of Harpers Ferry and Fred and Betty Voight of Caledonia, MN. Selma Voight of Caledonia, MN is a great-grandparent.

Justin and Regan (Berns) Sweeney of Waukon announce the birth of their daughter, Evelyn Margo Sweeney, born April 9, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, WI. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measured 19-1/4 inches in length at the time of her birth. She joins big sisters, Stella (4) and Scarlet (2).

Grandparents are Jim and Margo (White) Sweeney of Waukon, Jim and Rebecca (Palmer) Beardmore of Caledonia, MN and Reg and Angie Berns of Dorchester. Great-grandparents are the late Ray and Monica Sweeney, the late Bob and Vonnie White, Francis and Muggs Berns of Waukon, the late Bob Palmer and Kate Finley of Utica, MN.
