Kee girls track team places fifth at Clayton Ridge Invitational; 4x400 relay squad sets new record

In what turned out to be its only competition of the week due to inclement weather claiming a second meet later in the week, the Kee track girls made the most of that lone opportunity, breaking a school record while competing at the Clayton Ridge Invitational Tuesday, April 26. That record-breaking effort was just part of seven top-three placewinnings that led the Hawks to 74 team points for a fifth-place team finish in the seven-team field.

Sophomores Kendra Cooper and Nicki Wood teamed up with freshmen Katie Brennan and Makayla Walleser for that new Kee standard in the 4x400 relay, clocking in at 4:27.60.
