Waukon bowling teams come back from holiday break with sweep of North Fayette Valley


Helping the cause with 350 and above series totals ... The Waukon boys bowling pair of junior Logan Van Ruler (above) and sophomore Noah Schellsmidt (below) each rolled series totals of 350 pins or more to help the Indians to their 2698-2638 home win over North Fayette Valley Friday, January 4. The Waukon bowling teams returned to competition following the holiday break, playing host to North Fayette Valley Friday, January 4. That return proved to be a sweeping success, as both the girls and boys teams recorded victories over the visiting TigerHawks, the Indian ladies posting their second win of the season in five competition tries, 2121-1158, and the Waukon bowling boys holding on for a 2698-2638 victory for their fourth win of the season against just one defeat.
