Ag Olympics Thursday at the Allamakee County Fair

The Allamakee County 4-H County Council is sponsoring the annual Ag Olympics during the Allamakee County Fair, Thursday, July 18, at the Allamakee County Fairgrounds Show Barn at 5 p.m. The Ag Olympics is a timed obstacle relay race. These obstacles are things one would see at the fair, such as the round bale climb and wheelbarrow race.
Teams consist of four people of mixed gender. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Show Barn. There are four divisions: Junior (youth completing grades 4-6); Intermediate (youth completing grades 7-8); Senior (youth completing grades 9-12); and Adult/Celebrity. Only the first five teams to sign up in each division will be accepted. There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded to the top team in each division.
