Allamakee Community Players, Inc. to present "Beauty and the Beast"

Allamakee Community Players, Inc. (ACPI) will be presenting its production of the Disney musical "Beauty and the Beast" in mid-July. Performances will take place at the Waukon High School Auditorium Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, July 17 at 2 p.m.
Under the direction of Vicki Larson, ACPI's retelling of this "tale as old as time" presents Karsten Snitker as the Beast, Katie Kleinow as Belle, and Sam Hoins as Gaston. Also bringing the tale to life will be Jacob Galema as Lumiere, Barry Mueller as Cogsworth, Elizabeth Riese as Mrs. Potts, Madalyn Ellingson as Chip, Leo Livingston as Lefou, and Dick Riese as Maurice, along with a chorus, pit band and children's dance chorus overseen by music director and accompanist Valeria White.
