"Keep Waukon Beautiful Day" rescheduled for this Saturday at City Park

Due to rainy weather this past Saturday, the second annual "Keep Waukon Beautiful Day" has been rescheduled for this Saturday, May 21 in the Waukon area, and volunteers are again being sought to help take part in the event in an effort to clean up and maintain the community. The inaugural event was held last spring and met with great success, and more volunteers are being sought again this year to keep the event gaining momentum.
Interested participants are asked to meet at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at the front entrance of Waukon City Park, and groups will then be dispersed to do some roadside clean-up and garbage pick-up through downtown Waukon and the City Park.
Those participating are asked to bring with them garbage bags and work gloves. Questions can be answered by calling Steve or Stefanie Perkins at 563-568-4114.
