No injuries reported in July 17 accident at Quillin's

The Waukon Police Department responded to this unusual accident at Quillin's Food Ranch in Waukon at approximately 10:24 a.m. Tuesday, July 17. The report indicates that the above vehicle, driven by 79-year-old Jean Lamb of Waukon, crashed into the Quillin's Food Ranch storefront after Lamb reportedly was rendered temporarily helpless by an unreported medical condition. There were no injuries reported in the accident from Lamb or any of the store's occupants at the time, and Lamb was reportedly examined at the scene by the ambulance crew responding from Veterans Memorial Hospital following the accident. Quillin's management reported that the store remained open throughout the accident investigation and ensuing clean-up.
