Nobles Island Boat Ramp to be closed for road repair

Nobles Island Boat Ramp, located four miles south of Harpers Ferry, will be closed Thursday, September 22 and Friday, September 23 to accommodate road repair of damages stemming from the train derailment that took place in that area in June of this year. The landing will be open Saturday and Sunday, September 24-25, and then closed again the following week of September 26-29. Dates may vary due to weather conditions. The Harpers Ferry Landing at the Allamakee County Conservation Board Office will be open for boat access.
