Ribbon cutting planned for new hiking/biking trail in Waukon City Park

The City of Waukon is planning a ribbon cutting ceremony for Saturday morning, October 13 to dedicate the new hiking/biking trail in the south unit of Waukon City Park. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. that Saturday and will be followed by a narrated walk around the trails and park to highlight park improvements and discuss possible park projects for the future.
The event is being planned to coincide with other activities also going on in the City Park that morning. Further details will be provided in next week's issue of The Standard.
