Senator Grassley holds town hall meeting

Area residents filled the Community Room at Farmers and Merchants Savings Bank in Waukon Monday afternoon, March 25 for a town hall meeting with U.S. Senator Charles Grassley. The Senator answered questions posed by those in attendance on a wide variety of topics, including veterans’ benefits, gun control, continued irresponsibility on Wall Street, foreign aid and health care. Grassley visits each of Iowa’s 99 counties at least once every year. Photo and report by Bob Beach.
