Tammy Lessard diagnosed with Stage III Sarcoma; benefit event November 20

Tammy Lessard of rural Waukon was diagnosed with Stage 3 uterine sarcoma cancer in August of this year and is undergoing treatment in La Crosse, WI. She is married to Richard “Squeak” Lessard and is the mother of four girls and grandmother of 18.
The Lessards lived in Prairie du Chien, WI for many years and have been living in the Waukon area for the past 13 years.
A benefit auction will be held this Saturday, November 20 at the Harpers Ferry Community Center beginning at 1 p.m. All proceeds from the event will be used for medical bills and travel expenses. See the ad on Page 2A of this week's issue for more details.
