Waukon Lions Club Variety Show to take place April 2

The Waukon Lions Club 22nd  Annual Variety Show will be held Saturday, April 2 at the Waukon High School Auditorium. Doors for the event open at 6 p.m., with performances beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available at Farmers & Merchants Savings Bank, Waukon State Bank, Fidelity Bank, Hartig Drug, Elliott Jewelers, Krambeer’s Barber Shop, or from any Waukon Lions Club member.

The Lions plan to use the proceeds from the variety show to fund several local projects, including scholarships to local youth, camperships for local youth to diabetic camp, vision screening for local children, sponsorship of a tree for the hospital’s Christmas Fantasy, support of local Eagle Scout projects, after-prom party and other various school-related activities, repairs and improvements to the city park, and local Habitat for Humanity projects.
