"Waukon Works" forum scheduled for May 15

All members of the community are invited to participate in a fourth discussion about the future of downtown Waukon. Allamakee County Economic Development, the Waukon Chamber of Commerce and Waukon Economic Development Corporation are hosting a fourth forum Tuesday, May 15 from 6-7 p.m. at the Waukon Wellness Center Senior Center.
At the previous forum, members from each of eight newly-formed committees shared their primary focus/projects. The large group also agreed that the next step in moving this process forward was to form a steering committee to guide the project. At the May 15 meeting, a group of possible steering committee members will be discussing how the project and all its facets will be moving forward.
